| This aircraft was purchased new from Mooney, and is fully equipped and very IFR ready. It has always been hangared in Southern California, and has NO DAMAGE HISTORY. This airplane is FAST, 190 Knots all Day and Night! Airframe: Tubular Steel, Welded Fuselage Cabin with Continuous Carry Through Wing Spar Assembly. Engine Specs: Continental TCM IO-550 G, 280 BHP with Tuned Induction and Exhaust System. Engine instruments are combination analog digital readouts with separate Annunciator and Warning Panels. Modifications/Conversions: This airplane came from Mooney with all the bells and whistles, including the GTX 330 Transponder, EDI700 Engine Monitor with Fuel Flow, GDL49, 115 Cu Ft Oxygen with 4 Outlets, and a 530/430 stack with a KFC 225 Autopilot with Flight Director and slaved HSI. I've upgraded to the GDL69 for XMWeather, added a WX500 Stormscope, an electric attitude indicator, and updated both radios for Waas. Avionics/Radios: 530 Waas, 430 Waas, GDL69 with XM Weather, WX500 Stormscope, Garmin 340 Audio Panel with stereo input, Bose Headset Plugs, JPI EDM 700 Engine Monitor with fuel flow, KFC 225 Two Axis Autopilot with Flight Director and Altitude and Vertical Speed Preselect, and a slaved KCS55 HSI. The avionics stack is equipped with automatic blower system, and a standby vacuum system is included. Additional Equipment: Factory Installed Precise Flight Speed Brakes make for a quick descent and are useable in all phases of flight. When I first flew this plane to San Diego from Kerrville, TX, the tower controller said that he thought a 747 was landing there were so many lights onboard!! Exterior: Beautiful Whitecliff with Ming Red Acry Glo Polyurethane Paint and Polished Spinner. This airplane has always been hangared in Southern California. Interior: Light Grey leather interior with 3 way adjustable front seats, height, recliner, and lumbar support. Inspection Status: Just completed in December 2007 at Crownair Aviation in San Diego, a Mooney authorized service center. |
